About Arshad-Rowshan Welfare Trust
Arshad-Rowshan Welfare Trust was founded with a deep commitment to serving humanity and uplifting marginalized communities. Inspired by the lifelong dedication of its Founder, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Arshad Ali, the Trust builds upon years of social and charitable work carried out in his ancestral areas of Rajbari District, Bangladesh. Since his retirement from the University of Dhaka in 2006, he and his family have been actively involved in establishing orphanages and supporting various socio-welfare initiatives at the community level.
To expand and formalize these efforts, Arshad-Rowshan Welfare Trust was officially registered on 20 October 2010 under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh. As a non-profit and non-political organization, the Trust works to improve access to education, healthcare, shelter, and livelihood opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups within its areas of operation.
